​Heart Hospital is the specialist hospital in Qatar for cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery patients. It is made up of a state-of-the-art 20 bed coronary care unit, an equally impressive 12 bed cardiothoracic intensive care unit (ICU), a 24 bed surgical high-dependency unit (HDU) and a 60 bed ward. In order to provide the safest and most effective care, and to respect patient privacy, every bed in the hospital is in a single room and the 60 ward beds are individually monitored through an electronic system called telemetry.
